My good friend is Maria, she’s thirteen. She’s from Banyoles, and she lives with her parents and her sister.

She’s got long, curly, brown hair and blue eyes. She usually wear shorts and a t-shirt on summer, and on winter a trousers and a t-shirt too.

She does zumba with her mum, on Banyoles. She doesn’t like very much the sports with a ball.

Her days are very busy; she has music a lot of hours! And she does her homework at the evening!

Writing An event

Last week, I was in Olot to play a basketball match. I went to Olot with my team and the parents, we play basketball matches every Saturday.

When we arrived in Olot we enter ed the hall, and started training. Then we started the match! Lots of people came to watch the match. The match was very exciting, but we lost.

After the match, we went to the pavilion bar to have breakfast. Even though we lost we had a great time!

MY LAST SUMMER

 MY LAST SUMMER

Hi, today I’m going to talk about my summer holidays. First of all, I’m going to talk about two weeks in Llançà, and I’m going to talk about the rest of the summer, I went  to Granny Creek.

Well, when I finished the school, I went to Llançà by car, I stayed in an apartment with my family. Every morning we went to the beach. On the first week Carla came to my apartment, and on the second week my cousin came to my apartment too. At the end of the week we returned to Banyoles and went to the hospital because my little cousin was born.

When my parents started to work, I went every day to my grandparents’ house and I babysat my little cousin.

In conclusion, this has been a great summer for me. I spent most of the time at the coast, my cousin was born and I also spent a lot of time with my friends.

MY FRIENDS SUMMER HOLIDAYS:

JOEL: He went to New York and to Sant Antoni.

ALBA: She went to Lloret, and to Amer and she went to Valencia by train.

ROSER: She went to Greece, to Napoly, to Roma, to Pisa and to Mallorca.

GUILLEM: He stayed at home the first days. And on July he went to English classes Summer Camp, and he went to Rome by plane.

LAIA: In August she relaxed at home, an in September she went to Cantoni.

ALEIX: He went to Platja d'Aro, to Aquadiver and to Cantoni,

JOAN: He went to English classes, to Palamòs, to Platja d'Aro, to Venecia,...

MARC DURAN: When the school finished, he stayed in Banyoles, and then he went to Platja d'Aro.

CARLA: She went to Llançà on my appartment, and she retturned to llançà in August with her friends.

MARTÍ CORMINAS: He went to Paris, and he visited Disneyland, he went to Sant Esteve, and to Cantoni.

CLÀUDIA: She went to Pàdel classes, to Bàsquet. She went to l'Estartit on July, and she went to Gemeliers concert.

POLAR BEAR

The animal in this photo is a polar bear. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometres.

Famales have two cubs every fours or five years. Polar bears usally eat seals. Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway.

Pollution is  a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas. The Artic ice is smaller because the climate is changing.
